Configuring Order settings and Workflow settings
The Production Settings area enables Admin-level users to configure certain Order and Workflow settings so in order to refine the desired workflow inside PromoSuite Production.
Order Settings
Script Approvals
Script review required: When enabled, all orders entered default to having "script review" requested.
Writer sends script for approval: When enabled, the script Writer is able to send the script to client for review (vs. having the Account Executive do it). This box can only be checked if Script review required is checked.
Spot Approvals
Spot review required: When enabled, all orders entered default to having "spot review" requested.
Producer sends spot to Client: When enabled, the Producer is able to send the script to client for review (vs. having the Account Executive do it). This box can only be checked if Spot review required is checked.
Default Spot Length
This field enables you to select a default spot length for your orders so that Account Executives can forego adding spot length to an order and save a little time. This length can be edited when the order created for spots that are not of the "default spot length"
Default Words per Minute
Anytime a user enters a script into an order, our script timer calculates the length of time required to read the copy so that the user gets a sense of the viability of the copy for the desired spot length. The timer’s word count defaults to 180 words per minute (a common cadence) however this setting enables you to set your own default words per minute (for the script timer to use) in the case that you read spots faster or slower than 180 words per minute.
Workflow Settings
PRODUCER ASSIGNS VO
When enabled, the Production Manager role no longer assigns VO talent when making order assignments; instead, the Producer assigned to the order assigns VO talent.
This setting enables the the Producer role to assign the VO talent role(s) after the script is written vs. the Production Manager role making the assignments prior to the script being written.
CONTINUITY QUEUE
When toggled on, the Continuity Queue setting removes the need to assign a Continuity person for each submitted order and instead creates a section inside PromoSuite Production - the Continuity Queue - where all continuity tasks are pooled until they are completed by the collective group of end users with Continuity permissions.
