We recently released a batch of updates to PromoSuite Production to help you more efficiently manage the workflow of your audio production operation.  Please contact support with any questions!

Improvements

• [Cart # entry flexibility] For orders with multiple "Production Needed" spots, it is no longer mandatory to assign cart numbers to all spots immediately. For such orders, a cart number must be assigned to at least one spot before progressing to the next stage in the order entry workflow. Cart numbers for the remaining spots can be added when they become available.  More details HERE.

• [Chat for mobile order entry] Added basic Chat capability for mobile order entry via the new “POST A COMMENT TO CHAT” text box.  Comments entered here show up in the normal collapsible chat bubble users are accustomed to on the Desktop version.
  
  

• [Bypass additional Review step] Added the ability to bypass an additional Review step after a script and/or spot change request has been made as part of the initial Review step. If a change is requested, the Writer and/or Producer can make the change and press a new button option, which says “Send to Next Step.” Selecting this option moves the order to the next phase of the process, bypassing an additional review.
  
  

• [Better contextual warning] Warning message added for when a user, on the Assignments tab, changes the “Producer Assigns VO” setting when one or more VO tracks have already been uploaded to the order. The user is alerted to the presence of the VO tracks and is notified that changing the workflow will cause the VO tracks to be removed (deleted) from the order.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a problem where VO tracks and VO assignments were removed from an order if a Producer was re-assigned. 
  
  
• Fixed issue where, in some cases, the chat panel would be blank, even though there was a chat/comment to be displayed
