Manage Out of Office settings for Production users
Timely configuration of a Production user's "Out of Office" settings is important so that Production Managers get an accurate view of the available production resources when determining who to assign to a Production Order.
Users with the role of Production Manager, User Management, System Administrator, and/or Hub Manager, have an administrative privilege called 'User Scheduling' which enables the manager to set the "Out-of-Office" dates for a user who has forgotten to do so themselves.
To configure this setting, navigate to Configure and click User Scheduling. |
Then locate the user you need to set up Out-of-Office and under Actions click Edit (pencil icon).
Next, navigate to the Out of Office section.
Enter a Start Date - the date of the first day they'll be out of office. Next, add the Return Date - the date of the day they'll return to the office.
You may add multiple rows of Out-of-Office dates if you wish by clicking the Add Dates. When done, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
When production tasks are being assigned, the assignee (usually the Production Manager) will see your Out of Office dates and make assignments accordingly.
