Recording & Revising a Recording
When the Producer assigned sees order in their "Current Tasks" with a status of "RECORD" - it's time to produce a new spot.
Upon clicking into the order the Producer sees the Record tab which houses the Final Script to be recorded. If for some reason, the producer needs to modify a few words to make them read better, they have the ability to edit the script they will be recording. This is there for those times that require tweaks for a smoother read. The Producer can also “OPEN IN NEW WINDOW” button and see the script in a scalable form where the font’s point size can be increased for easier reading.
Once the recording has been completed, the Producer can drag and drop or upload the recording into the file upload area.
After uploading the Producer can play the recording if desired to make sure it is the correct file. Who uploaded the file and when with also accompany the file in this area. You can see the date stamp just above the recording on the top right. Once the task is complete, the Producer can hit SUBMIT.
When a recording requires a change.
After the AE has reviewed the recording they can Approve it, Request Changes, or Send it to the Client for Feedback. If the recording does require some changes they can listen to the recording and add comments as to what they want changes. If they check the “ADD TIMESTAMP” box, it will allow them to play the recording, stop it at any point and add a comment. In the example below, the AE has added two change requisitions. Because they had timestamp checked, it is showing you exactly where they want changes made.
Once you have made the requested changes you can upload the new revised recording the FINAL RECORDING upload file section. Then hit SUBMIT.
