Finalizing a Production Needed Order in Continuity
The Continuity role in PromoSuite Production is considered super-user role.
Therefore, unlike other roles where an order will not appear in a person’s Current Tasks until a previous step has been completed, the Continuity role can see all production orders in their Current Task once assignments have been made by the Production Manager.
This enables the Continuity role to perform their tasks in a non-linear manner. Meaning, they can assign Cart # at any time during the production of the recording or spot.
For example, in the order below, while the order is in the Script stage, it still appears marked as such in the Continuity person’s CURRENT TASKS.
If they were to open the order they would see the following information. In Production Details, they can review all order details, including spot length, spot flight dates, and provided traffic instructions. In Traffic Details they can add missing information such as ISCI# and Cart# /AD ID. Note: Since this order is in the production process no recording is showing. Once the recording has been completed and approved, Continuity would see an audio player with the recording.
Once the task has been completed, hit SUBMIT. The order will now move to the Dubbing phase. |
