Finalizing a Production Provided Order in Continuity
The Production Provided workflow is similar to the Production Needed with some additional capabilities.
This workflow is suited for those accounts where a client (or their agency) is proving the produced audio file. That said, this produced spot falls(s) in two Production types:
Production Complete These recordings (spots) are good to go. No editing is required. Production Provided - Need Tags These recordings (spots) have been provided but require the tags provided in the instructions to be added to the spots. For example, the agency provided a 50-second recording and instructions for a 10-second tag. |

“PRODUCTION COMPLETE” Order Processing
If PRODUCTION COMPLETE, Continuity can assign a Dubber, upload spot, and add ISCI# and Cart Number. Hit “Submit” and the order will move to the Dubbing Phase.
If the Traffic Instruction calls for two or more spots to be rotated, click on the “Add to Rotation” button at the bottom of the first spot. | ![]() |
An additional spot order form will appear. (See image below). You can add a title, ISCI#, Cart #, and upload the spot. Lastly, below the final spot, a Spot Rotation Chart will appear.
“PRODUCTION PROVIDED - NEEDS TAGS” Order Processing
If PRODUCTION PROVIDED order “needs tags”, Continuity can do the following:
- Assign a production person to add spot
- Assign a Dubber
- Upload spot provided by client/agency,
- Add a tag for each spot,
- add ISCI# and Cart Number.
Hit “Submit” and the order will move to the production person assigned so tags can be added.
