Understanding PromoSuite Production Roles
The roles outlined below can be assigned to a user when they are added to PromoSuite Production.
Users can be assigned multiple roles, and custom roles (with custom permission sets) can also be created if doing so helps you to better match your audio production process with PromoSuite Production's workflow engine.
Sales Manager, Account Executive, Sales Assistant
As you might expect, these roles are typically assigned to people on the sales team because they include adding and managing client information, entering orders and sharing scripts/audio content with clients for approval.
Production Manager
This role is typically assigned to the head of the production team. They are responsible for reviewing order details and assigning production resources to fulfill the tasks required to fulfill an order. They may or may not assign tasks to themselves (Producer, Voice Talent, etc.), depending on the order and local resources.
Producer, Writer, Voice Talent & Dubber
Orders that need audio content produced need a Producer, a Writer (if a script is needed), Voice Talent (someone, or multiple people), and a Dubber (who uploads the approved audio to automation). While you may not have individual staffers for each of these roles, these are the roles PromoSuite Production uses to sequence the tasks that help make your production work flow better.
Continuity
Has the ability to edit scripts, upload audio, perform dubbing and "perform continuity" -> assign a cart number to an order.
System Administrator
This person (or multiple people) manages access to PromoSuite Production for the end-users in your organization. They have the highest level of privileges and can add and remove users, assign user roles and create custom user roles (if needed).
