Approving Recordings and/or Sharing With a Client for Approval
Reviewing Recordings
Like script review, once a recording has been attached to the order it is ready for “SPOT REVIEW”. You will find the Order in your Current Tasks. Click the order to open.
Once opened, you will find a media player with the recording. You will see three options: Approve, Request Changes, or Send to Client for them to approve or request changes. If you “Approve” the recording it will be routed to Continuity and Dubbing.
If you click on Request Changes, you will be able to listen to the recording and provide specific feedback. By checking the “Include timestamp” option, you will be able to associate a comment to a specific part of the recording. Once you hit the purple arrow, it will drop a pin with your avatar.
Once finished, hit the Submit button.
After submitting a change request, your order will be routed back to the Production team.
After the changes have been made the new recording will reappear in your ‘Current Tasks” to be reviewed once again. You will still have the three options available to you, Approve, Request Changes, or Send to Client.
If you choose to approve, you will see the new recording. Below it, you will see the REVISION HISTORY with your feedback. Go through the same process outlined above till the recording is to your liking. Then hit Approved
